APPLYING WRONG FOUNDATION COLOUR/SHADE

Always remember that foundation isn't bronzer. It is not designed to change the colour if the skin. With that in mind, choose a foundation that closely replicates the natural colour of the skin. It may not be always possible to find a single product that does this effectively. To solve this problem, buy two or three different shades and mix them together to arrive at the right colour.

Throughout the year, different shades of foundation will be needed due to certain factors which includes change in weather and skin tone. Yes, even the slightest change in skin tone can make it necessary to buy new foundation.

Furthermore, some types of foundation oxidize throughout the day. What causes this? The oils from the skin causes this to happen. I.e. foundation that starts out looking fine can end up looking orange by the end of the day.

To avoid mismatching foundation, start by using it sparingly. If minimal coverage is needed, a tinted moisturizer may be a better option. Also, use a translucent powder to seal in the foundation so that it keeps looking fresh throughout the day.

Its Friday. If you go out partying, please do not drink and drive afterwards. Safety first always. You have loved ones that needs you home.

Have a blessed weekend.
